10. Embedding Your Clips
You can place any generated clip on your own website with a small embedded player — useful for letting a blog post or book chapter be read aloud in your voice. Embedding is a paid feature.
10.1 Getting the Embed Code
Open your Audio Library and click Embed on the clip you want. A dialog opens with:
- A live preview of the player.
- An iframe snippet (recommended — works on any site, including WordPress, Wix, and similar).
- A <script> snippet, for places where you can’t paste a raw iframe.
Use the copy button next to a snippet, then paste it into your site’s HTML where you want the player to appear.
10.2 How the Player Behaves
- The player is lightweight and works without JavaScript, so it keeps working even on sites that sandbox embeds.
- It shows the clip title and a small “Powered by Clone Voice Translator” link.
- Anyone who has the embed code (or its link) can play the clip — treat it like an unlisted, shareable link.
Note: Embedding requires an active paid plan. If the owning account is not on a paid plan, the embedded player shows an upgrade message instead of audio. See Subscriptions & Plans.
10.3 Removing an Embed
To stop sharing a clip, remove the snippet from your site. Keep in mind that anyone who already has the code could still reach it while the clip exists, so only embed content you intend to make public.
