Sign In Your Way — Apple, Google and Microsoft, One Account Everywhere
iPhone version 1.18 and Android version 1.2 are now live, and the web has had matching changes. This release is about getting in: signing in without a new password, and using the same account on your phone and on rcr.la.
No New Password Needed
Until now, signing up in the apps meant making up another email and password. Now you don't have to.
- Sign in or create an account with Apple, Google or Microsoft — Apple, Google and Microsoft on iPhone; Google and Microsoft on Android
- One account on your phone and on the web — if you already sign in on rcr.la the same way, the app takes you to that same account, with your plan and your voices
- The same options on rcr.la — the web sign-in page now offers Google and Apple alongside Microsoft
A Better First Screen
- A new welcome screen in both apps explains what Clone Voice does, and that it is free to try, before asking you to sign in
Your Voices on Android
Android now has the voice features iPhone got in the last release.
- Name your cloned voice when you create it, instead of being given an automatic timestamp
- Free voices show when they expire, in your local time, so you won't be surprised when one goes
On The Web
- Get the app from the menu — App Store and Google Play buttons now sit in the site menu and on the home page, in your language
- Manage your sign-ins in one place — Account settings shows every sign-in option as Connected or Not connected, explains why you can't remove your only sign-in, and has a link back to your Profile
- Emails in your language — we now remember the language you signed up in, so our emails reach you in that language, not in English
- A warning before a voice is deleted — if your paid plan has ended and a voice clone is going to be removed, we email you first. Subscribe again before then and the voice stays as it is.
- Emails that look like the site — account emails such as password resets now use the same colors and logo as rcr.la
