Your Language, All the Way Through — Studio, Billing, the Word Add-in and Arabic
The apps were fully translated last month. This update brings the web up to the same standard: the pages where you manage your plan, the Word and PowerPoint add-in, and Arabic now read properly in your language.
Plans, Billing and the Studio, Translated
The screens where you choose and pay for a plan were the last parts of rcr.la still showing English to everyone.
- Plans, Billing and the Studio dashboard are now translated into all seven languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, French, Korean, Chinese and Arabic
- The upgrade offer on Billing describes Pro as it is — 3 voice clones and 100,000 characters a month
- Clearer messages when checkout or cancellation fails, instead of technical error text
The Word and PowerPoint Add-in
- Translated throughout — the sign-in screen and the task pane now appear in your language
- Follows Office’s language — the add-in uses the language Office is set to, even when your browser says otherwise
- Shows your real plan and monthly limit — including subscriptions bought in the iPhone or Android app or through Microsoft AppSource, which previously showed as Free
Arabic, Right to Left
- Arabic pages now read right to left — on rcr.la and in the add-in, the layout mirrors the way Arabic is read
Smaller Improvements
- Product news by email arrives in your language, the one you signed up in
- The voice demo on the home page now gives its messages in your language
- Language choices that work — the site menu, the footer and your Profile now list exactly the seven languages we offer, so none of them leads to a missing page
- News and Help articles no longer show stray symbols in titles such as “&”, and author photos appear again
